What Reduced Watering does

Reduced Watering is Leafy Corner’s comfort option for players who want a calmer moisture loop. When enabled, plants consume water more slowly—Demo patch 1.0.2 (July 19, 2026) further lowered usage and fixed how the option behaves on plants that were already overwatered. When to enable it

Enable Reduced Watering if:

1. Whites return faster than you can finish furniture rearranges.
2. You play short Deck sessions and forget mid-route pots.
3. You are teaching a friend or child the droplet colors.
4. Succulents still feel harsh even after 1.0.2 raised their starting moisture.

Keep it off if you want a slightly tighter daily cadence before expanding via Shop Expansion.

How it interacts with droplet UI

White still means thirsty; blue still means satisfied. Reduced Watering stretches the timer between states rather than inventing new icon colors. After 1.0.2, overwatered pots should respond more predictably when the option is on—stop spam-watering, then let the UI settle before your next pass.

Succulents and starting moisture
