Open any compendium entry or placed pot. Besides growth days, watering needs, and size, a pet-safe indicator marks species Fireline classifies as safer choices for households with cats or dogs. Non-safe plants are not banned—you can sell them with clear communication—but mixed pet homes prioritize flagged stock.

Use the Plant Request Matcher filters to practice building a pet-safe shortlist before spending Plant Tokens. The flag is binary in-game: safe or not—there is no partial rating.

Building a pet-safe shelf

Dedicate one display zone near the entrance for flagged species. Group low-water pet-safe succulents for busy owners and compact pots for apartment layouts. Pair with Pots and Furniture that keep plants elevated—cosmetic in game, familiar to real pet owners.

After Shop Expansion, clone the pet-safe zone instead of scattering safe pots across the floor where browsers miss them. Label the zone mentally even though in-game signage is decorative—your layout teaches customers where to browse.

Unlock priority for pet households

When tokens are tight, unlock pet-safe species before cosmetic duplicates. Tasks sometimes ask for trait diversity; fulfilling pet-safe objectives doubles progress toward reputation and customer readiness.
